Platform Rank is an independent comparison site founded by Marek Kamenický. Marek has invested for several years through brokers, trading platforms and crypto exchanges across Europe. The site helps retail investors choose a platform on the basis of cost, regulation, product range and everyday performance.
Our rankings draw on official pricing documents, regulatory registers and our own testing. We also check availability by country, so every recommendation is a platform you can open where you live.
Each article carries the author's name and the date it was last reviewed. If you find an error, please let us know and we will correct it.

Research methodology

Documentation review
Every review starts with the broker’s fee schedule, client agreement and regulatory status.

Platform testing
We open accounts and use them over several weeks to assess onboarding, order execution, usability and customer support.

Scoring and availability
Platforms are scored against the same criteria and checked for availability in each country before we recommend them.
